Copperhill Mountain Lodge

On the top of Förberget in Åre is a modern designer hotel constructed in the American lodge style. Extensive use of natural stone anchors it both in the landscape and also in tradition.

The building is adapted to fit into its surroundings, stretching out in parallel with the natural topography and resting on a stone plinth. The outside walls of the après-ski and conference section are constructed from solid Offedal blocks which, together with the landscaping walls, anchor the building in its setting.

Inside, the large, three-storey atrium features tall fireplaces and heavy pillars, both constructed in natural stone dry wall.
