Launch – new bricks!

Minera Brick is a new and promising schist product. It combines the natural beauty of schist with the ease of use of traditional bricks. Be it a rugged wall on a mountain cottage, or a smooth metropolitan facade, with Minera Brick, schist gets entirely new looks and applications.

To tempt you into trying, we have made your job easier. We have sawed the back edge of the schist stones, giving all stones the same depth. Therefore you can now, more easily than ever, build a schist facade, fireplace, or wall, indoors as well as outdoors. Using Minera Bricks is no more complicated than using regular bricks.
Minera Bricks come in multiple varieties and colours. You can create a rough or smooth surface, and chose between monochrome or shades of grey. See new surfaces arise, and try the unproven!

MINERA PRESIS

PRESIS is sawn on the front, backside and ends and has a minimalist and symmetric look with clean lines. PRESIS is the same type of product that has been chosen for Norway’s new National Museum. The front exhibits the unique colour play and the soft, Scandinavian tones of the light coloured Oppdal Schist. PRESIS can be used for installation with or without joints as heights are fixed. At ends and corners, lengths should be adjusted using a saw or angle grinder.

FACTS:
• Sawn front, ends and backside.
• Fixed depth of 10 cm.
• Length varies between 40-120 cm.
• Fixed heights of 3, 6 and 9 cm.
• Two color variations; LYS (light Oppdal) and MIX (20% share of darker Oppdal).

MINERA RUSTIKK

This hand broken stone is the good old classic that never goes out of style. Hearing the words schist wall, many will think of this particular wall. The new thing is that the bricks have sawn backs and fixed depths, making it easier than ever to raise such a wall. Exact depth of 10 cm combined with the hand broken front and ends, give a precise stone. RUSTIKK is best built with  joints, as stones have varied heights.
